A vast world awaits
It looks like we might have a release date for Lords of the Fallen on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, as an apparent Microsoft Store leak has suggested it’ll be with us on October 13th, 2023 – barring any delays, of course.
In case you were wondering, this is indeed the sequel to the 2014 Xbox One title of the same name, and it’s described as an “all-new, epic RPG adventure in a vast, interconnected world more than five times larger than the original game”.
Here’s a look at the leaked release date, courtesy of the reliable Aggiornamenti Lumia:

It’s been about a year now since Lords of the Fallen was first confirmed to be targeting a 2023 launch, and the game’s name has changed a few times since then – it was originally Lords of the Fallen 2, and then The Lords of the Fallen, but now it’s reverted to the title of the original game. Confusing, eh?
Anyway, you can look forward to an “expansive RPG experience” featuring two huge parallel worlds, the ability to customise your own character, fluid tactical combat, an option to play through the campaign either solo or in online co-op, and much more. It’s looking and sounding fantastic so far… let’s hope the reviews will be just as good!
